You've been campaigning with us on Waterproof since spring 2012. What have we achieved since then?
In 2013, following on from our involvement in the Enough Food For Everyone... IF campaign, 4,521 Progressio supporters urged the government to 'fall in love with farmers' and use UK aid spending to ensure sustainable access to water for small-scale farmers.
And in 2012, over 400 campaigners took our photo action - and every one of you has made a big step towards ensuring the poor have water for their livelihoods. We presented them all to Environment Minister Caroline Spelman in the run-up to the Rio+20 conference - see the photo below. She made a big commitment to put the poorest people at the heart of the world's plans for the future.
And you sent in more than a thousand 'Future we want' postcards addressed to Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg arrived before Rio and we handed them in before he set off for the Summit. Mr Clegg even remembered us when we got to Rio+20! And we got a very nice letter back from him too. Ensuring he knew we cared was vital to helping the UK push for a decent deal.
So thanks for everything you've done so far, and check out what you can do right now to help us waterproof devcelopment.
